“Cash Friday” was put forth by Catherine Austin Fitts as a super reasonable way to stand for cash, and keep it in circulation.
While it would be lovely for each of us to pay cash always, it’s not necessarily a reasonable or convenient ask (yet). Still, by committing to paying with cash on Fridays, it’s a great way to cast our vote for sovereign currency, while also supporting local and independent businesses, who won’t have to lose percentages to the various payment processors that always, always take a piece of the pie.
To support you, dear business owner, in standing for cash, I have made this Cash Friday sign available for download, by donation. Give what you’d like, download, print, laminate and post near your cash register as a way of encouraging customers to pay cash.
